Essendia sources and uses only the best available awning fabrics best suited to the harsh Queensland climate. The choice depends upon the style you are after and the amount of shading you prefer. All fabrics come with a 5 year manufacturers' warranty.
Docril – Acrylic Awning Fabrics

Dickson – Acrylic Fabrics
Dickson all weather fabrics are subject to special acrylic coating, resistant to water and ultraviolet. All fabrics come with a 5 year guarantee.
Imex – Shade View Fabrics
Imex’s multifunctional fabric for external window shading has a high shade factor blocking up to 90% of the sun’s rays, thereby reducing the heat load and energy costs whilst protecting interiors from heat and ultraviolet radiation. PVC coated polyester yarn, mildew resistant.
Fabric Care
When used in permanent outdoor situations Docril should be hosed regularly to remove dust, bird droppings and other solid particles. Water based stains should be treated first by rinsing in cold water. If this is not sufficient, Docril may be washed with a mild solution of soap in lukewarm water and rinsed thoroughly.
It is important that a Docril awning or blind is let down to dry after wet weather and should not be rolled up when wet.
